음악예술연구 Journal of Musical Arts March 2020 Vol. 10, No. 1, pp. 1-21 알베니스의 <스페인 노래 Op. 232> 연구 김 찬 미* (군산대학교 박사과정) □ 국문초록 알베니스는 스페인 민속춤과 노래의 리듬, 기타의 음색을 피아노 음악에 표현하여 스페인 음악을 알린 작곡가이다. 1892년 작곡된 <스페인 노래 Op. 232>는 다섯 개의 모음곡으로 이 곡의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민속춤인 호타, 플라멩코, 세기디야, 폴로의 특징을 음악 소재로 삼아 작곡하였다. 둘째, 프리지아 선법, 헝가리 단음계, 증 2도 음정, 꾸밈음을 사용하여 스페인만의 독특한 음악적 색채를 표현했다. 셋째, 민속춤의 반주악기인 기타, 캐스터네츠, 손뼉 치기와 발 구르기의 음향 효과를 작품에 나타내었다. 넷째, 기타 주법인 푼테아도와 라스게아도를 모방한 기법의 사용이다. 이 논문은 알베니스의 <스페인 노래 Op. 232>를 연구하여 작품의 이해를 높이며, 나아가 연주에 도움을 주는 것을 목적으로 한다. 주제어: 스페인, 스페인 민속음악, 알베니스, 스페인 노래

A Study on Cantos de España Op. 232

Albéniz is a composer who introduced Spanish music by
expressing the sounds of Spanish folk dances, rhythms and guitars
in piano work. Written in 1896, Chants de España Op. 232 is a
five-piece collection that features:
First, Albéniz used the folk dances like jota, flamenco, seguidilla,
and polo as the material for his music. Second, he utilized the
phrygian mode, Hungarian minor scale, augment second pitches and
embellishment illustrating Spain's unique colors. Third, the work
displays the sound of guitar, castanets, hand clapping and
foot-rolling, Fourth, Albéniz employed a technique that mimics
'punteado' The purpose of this paper is to study the musical characteristics
of Albénis, to improve the understanding of the work, and to help
the performance.
